For many years, Robert has been a concert music mixer,
mixing music for such as artists American Idol, Seal, John Hiatt, R Kelly, Toni
Braxton, Fiona Apple, Al Jarreau, Steve Perry and Mariah Carey and many others.
He's also a
software designer.
While working on large scale touring productions, Robert realized that every tour
encountered wardrobe management issues. Wardrobe Mistresses and Masters,
managing enormous clothing inventories had few options to accurately track clothing location, condition,
alterations, assignments and dates worn,
sound
familiar?
Because there wasn’t a software program that met the
needs of the wardrobe professional, they were left to use paper and pencil and an occasional spreadsheet.
That's where Robert’s expertise as a software programmer came in handy.
After interviewing many wardrobe professionals to determine
the full scope of their needs and the subsequent countless hours of programming
that followed, Robert created
Wardrobe
Assistant.

An expanded version of Wardrobe Assistant
(Wardrobe
Manager ) has been put to the test by such productions as American Idol,
Toni Braxton, R Kelly as well as university theater departments and summer stock
troops. As time went on, Robert’s significant other, Sharon, became interested and wondered out loud
as to how she might use Wardrobe Assistant to help her keep track of her own clothing, jewelry, shoes and outfits. She too
needed to take control of her wardrobe and closets.
Being a sensible woman, she also wanted the ability to get as many "looks" as possible with her
existing clothing
inventory. Her goal was to always look well dressed with a minimum of
duplication!
Being a sensible spouse, Robert got right on it!
Robert customized Wardrobe Assistant to meet the particular needs of the home
wardrobe mistress
(or master ;-) and
Wardrobe Planner
was born!
It is now available to anyone that wants to take charge of their clothing inventory
and outfit assembly.
